Work to fix notoriously bumpy town road due to begin this week
Neatherd Moor, which is widely known for its lush greenery and play area, has a track that runs alongside the park.
The state of the track has been a cause for concern among many locals due to the number of potholes and uneven surface.
Those who live nearby have also complained about cars frequently crashing into the walls that line their street, falls off mobility scooters and frequent punctured tyres.

In an update posted on Friday (February 27), Breckland Council confirmed that repairs to the track will be getting under way soon.
It follows a delay in appointing a contractor, which the council said was "due to a lack of suppliers with availability to deliver this activity".
A spokesman for the council said: "We are disappointed by the delay, but pleased to confirm that initial repairs at the duck pond end of the road are now due to get underway next week.
"After that, a proper road surface will be put in place on the car park and road at the high school end of Neatherd Moor, which is currently largely a loose gravel surface.
"These further works are expected to begin in April, subject to weather conditions remaining favourable".

Both the local and district authorities have occasionally levelled and maintained the surface, although the potholes have continued to reappear.
Councillor Alison Webb, who represents Dereham Neatherd ward at Breckland, previously said the project would be "split into phases", with the second phase planned for the 2027-2028 financial year.
Breckland Council is due to contribute £120,000 towards the first phase of the project, while £20,000 will come from Dereham Town Council.
A joint investment for the scheme was unanimously given the green light at a council meeting last summer.
