The building at 9 Norwich Street, in Fakenham, has been the subject of intense public scrutiny over the years.

The long-standing and derelict building was originally declared "unsafe" in 2019 and served with an urgent works notice.

It has been surrounded by scaffolding since May 2022, but concerns have been raised over the lack of progress.

Councillor Rob Jamieson, who represents the town and Raynhams division at Norfolk County Council, said the situation has "blighted an important part of Fakenham for many years".
