'Far less concern' about use of controversial hotel for emergency accommodation
The NR19 hotel, in Dereham's Market Place, has come under massive scrutiny from locals in recent months due to crime and antisocial behaviour concerns.
It had become a cause of concern as councils across Norfolk and Suffolk were using the site for temporary housing.
Among those placed there are recently-released prisoners.
Figures from Norfolk Constabulary reveal that officers were dispatched to the NR19 Hotel in Dereham 73 times last year - an average of more than one and a half calls a week.
