Plans to create a new eight-bedroom HMO on the upper floors of a long-term vacant former solicitor’s in Lowestoft have been approved.

The change of use plans were submitted to East Suffolk Council in January for the building at 13 Surrey Street in Lowestoft.

Proposals lodged by agents Small Fish for applicant Matthew Coble, on behalf of Ness Point Properties Limited centring around the change of use of upper floors of a building from offices to an eight-bedroom house in multiple occupation were permitted under delegated council powers last week.
