The bridge crosses the pond area in Kensington Gardens, a traditional Victorian seafront garden that overlooks the beach in Lowestoft.

But having been blocked off and not in use in recent months, Lowestoft Town Council has now removed the small bridge after repairs to the structure were "unviable."

The town council said a replacement bridge will be installed in its place.
