Another year of fantastic achievements was marked as students at Lowestoft Sixth Form College enjoyed another outstanding set of A-level and BTEC results.

Students gathered with classmates, teachers and their families at the college on Rotterdam Road, Lowestoft to collect their results on Thursday and celebrate the next stage of their journey - with strong academic achievement and exciting progression to universities, apprenticeships and professional careers.

Staff expressed pride at an increase in A* grades that were achieved this year, including "outstanding" A-level results in biology and law, alongside high-grade outcomes in physics, chemistry, mathematics and further mathematics.

Across the college’s BTEC provision, students achieved excellent results with high-grade achievement in Performing Arts and Forensic Science.
