First look at stunning designs for festival parade
Hundreds of people are expected to be part of a special opening parade that will kickstart the return of the UK's only free beachfront festival.
As thousands flock to Lowestoft's south beach and seafront in anticipation of the popular First Light Festival returning for the sixth time in June this year, a special Moon Walk parade will lead the way.

Winding its way from East Point Pavilion, along the promenade to the main stage on the beach, the festival's parade theme for 2026 celebrates the 13 Full Moons which will rise in our skies this year.
