McDonald's is appealing to the Planning Inspectorate once more after plans to install a freestanding, double-sided sign in Lowestoft were thrown out.

Last month this newspaper revealed how an appeal had been lodged for the McDonald's drive‑through restaurant on Arbor Lane in Pakefield after East Suffolk Council refused advertisement consent as proposals were described as incongruous to the area.
