Suffolk Highways will be carrying out works on a stretch of Church Road in Kessingland, near Lowestoft this weekend.

The overnight works will see Church Road in Kessingland temporarily closed from 8pm on Friday, March 6 until 3am on Saturday, March 7 for "gully cleansing."

A Suffolk Highways spokesman said: "The road will only need to be closed for a time during the advertised hours.

"Access will be maintained for residents and businesses throughout."

The overnight works will see drivers facing a diversion, with traffic diverted via the B1427, Field Lane, Wash Lane and vice versa.
