Emergency services responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the road in Wrentham just before 2pm on Thursday.

The car had collided with a tree and a woman was trapped in her vehicle.

The casualty was able to exit the vehicle and was left in the care of the ambulance crew before being transported to the hospital.

An air ambulance, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, Suffolk police and the ambulance service were all called to the scene where the road was closed.

As of 2.45pm, the road was cleared and reopened.
