Jack Humphrey-Potter punched the woman in the stomach, face and legs before smashing a mirror in “rage” and pressing a broken shard to her throat, it was said.

Humphrey-Potter, of Paget Road in Great Yarmouth, was before Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday having previously admitting one count of actual bodily harm and criminal damage on October 25 last year.

The court heard when the woman asked Humphrey-Potter, 28, to leave her house he “went into a rage”.
