Man convicted of attempted murder of girlfriend who found him in bed with another man
Ryan Leggett, 35, had denied attempted murder but was unanimously convicted by a jury after a trial which started last week.
Jurors had heard how he had stabbed the woman eight times after realising he had "lost everything" when she walked in on him with another man.
He had then taken her phone and locked her in their house in Lowestoft Road, Carlton Colville.

Duncan O’Donnell, prosecuting, said: "He left her to die. Something she would have done if police and medical services had not got to her in time."
Ipswich Crown Court heard that two of her eight stab wounds were in her chest, causing a fractured rib and a punctured lung, while one in........
