Norfolk to be hotter than Lisbon as spring sunshine hits county
Despite the recent foggy conditions, the county will reach highs of 17C today, according to the Met Office.
This is due to clear sunny conditions from sunrise to sunset, along with a gentle breeze.
King's Lynn will see the warmest weather, with temperatures peaking at 17C in the town, and the thermometer in Norwich will hit 16C.
People in both areas will experience sunnier conditions than the Portuguese capital, which will see highs of 14C today and a chance of rain.
Temperatures in Norfolk will drop heading into the weekend due to cloud cover and fog, but are still expected to reach 14C.
This continues the trend of settled weather following Storm Pedro, with the county seeing temperatures higher than Athens last week.
Storm Pedro brought heavy rain, wind, ice, and snow to large parts of the UK, with weather warnings in place.
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) also issued cold health alerts for the East of England.
