A memorial service for John Desira, the founder and chairman of Desira motor group, will be held at St John's Catholic Cathedral in Norwich next Friday (August 14), at 1pm.

Family, friends, colleagues and customers are invited to pay their respects, with its dealerships closing from 12pm that day to allow staff to honour his memory.

Mr Desira dedicated more than five decades to the company, which remains family-owned.
