Water has been seeping out of the fault in Ames Court, Cawston, since at least June 29 when it was reported to Anglian Water, almost a fortnight before the firm imposed the restrictions.

Reverend Andrew Whitehead, who lives on Ames Court, described the situation as “deeply frustrating”.
