Cromer has seen its crime total tumble by more than a fifth since 2023, with violence among the offences falling most sharply. 

New figures from Norfolk Constabulary also show recorded crime has also fallen across Sheringham and Wells-next-the-Sea.

Released following a Freedom of Information request, the figures cover recorded offences between July 2021 and July 2026. 

Cromer, which accounted for the largest number of offences in the trio of towns, saw recorded crime fall by more than a fifth........
