Church's plans for its community hall upset locals and the town council
The proposal by Cromer Parochial Church Council (PCC) to close its Parish Hall and turn it into accommodation has sparked dozens of objections.
The PCC says it wants to reduce maintenance costs and manage its assets more efficiently by shutting the high street hall, which is 120 yards from St Peter and St Paul church in the town centre.
