Police were called to a collision between an Aprilia motorbike and a Jaguar at the Normanston Drive and Peto Way roundabout at 1.35pm on Sunday.

The male biker was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital, where he remains, with serious injuries.

Surrounding roads, including Peto Way at the junctions with Fir Lane and Oulton Road, were closed for at least 11 hours while crash investigation work took place.

New photos show the Jaguar, which has a large dent in its side, being hoisted onto a recovery vehicle at about 11.30pm, almost 10 hours after the crash.

Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash are urged to contact the Roads & Armed Policing team at Suffolk Police, quoting reference 37/17826/26.
