Samuel Jackson stabbed the woman several times, narrowly missing her heart.

The 35-year-old, from Harvest Road, Watton, had been drinking beer with the woman at an address in Cambridge when he launched the attack.

Cambridge Crown Court was told that he arrived at the property between 6am and 7am on May 26, 2025, and told her that he had already smoked some crack cocaine.

After drinking beer together, the pair walked to a nearby shop and bought coffee and food........
