A member of the public contacted Thetford Town Council at around 6.30pm on Wednesday after they found an injured sheep on Barnham Cross Common.

The sheep later died from the injuries.

The incident marks the 11th attack on livestock in the area, which the council says is a result of dog owners allowing their pets to run loose in places with grazing animals.
