Victim of NHS sex offender is too scared to book medical appointments
The woman, who is in her 20s but cannot be identified for legal reasons, was one of Norwich man Jamie Kadolski's three victims.
The former ambulance call handler and first responder, who wore his NHS uniform on his Tinder profile and misleadingly told women he was a paramedic, went on to sexually assault and rape his female victims.
Jamie Kadolski (Image: PA/Facebook) Kadolski was jailed for 12 years earlier this year after being found guilty of a raft of sexual offences against his victims following an 11-day trial.
One of those victims, who was sexually assaulted by Kadolski, has found the strength to speak out about her ordeal - and her ongoing fear of medical staff as a result.
The woman, who lives in Norfolk, said she still "cannot be near paramedics or ambulance workers" and won't even book GP appointments due to the terror Kadolski instilled in her.
"I keep saying to myself if I see an ambulance down the road, 'It's not him, he's locked away,'" she said.
"I try to calm myself and reassure myself but I have a panic attack - I can't be near them.
"I try really hard to say it's not him but it's still so raw at the moment and to this day I can't go to doctors' appointments.
"I can't access basic healthcare because I'm so scared.
"It's so unfair to me and to them, other healthcare workers."
After Kadolski was sentenced the East of England Ambulance Service Trust (EEAST) released a statement describing how they were © Eastern Daily Press
