MP says council 'crossed the line' in video pretending to blow up solar farm
Ben Goldsborough, Labour MP for South Norfolk, has criticised South Norfolk Council leader Daniel Elmer for the skit - which references the ultra-violent Grand Theft Auto series of video games.
The parody was put together to highlight the work the authority is doing to crack down on proposals for huge solar farms after a series of major applications emerged in the district.
While the video was intended to be tongue-in-cheek, it has been met with disapproval by Mr Goldsborough, who said it was inappropriate for the council to use "violent" imagery.
