More than 50 people object to 'wholly inappropriate' plans for children's care home
The application was approved at a meeting of Breckland Council's planning committee this week, despite concerns about increased noise and traffic in the area.
The property in Vesta Close, Swaffham, will be home to two children, who will be cared for by a minimum of two staff members at all times.
Swaffham Town Council was among the objectors to the application, saying that the scheme would cause an "unacceptable level of harm" to local people.
