Anita Snelling, who moved to Vale Green in 2020, said chancers take advantage of the huge, industrial-size bins located outside two of the block of flats in Mile Cross.

The 57-year-old, whose husband Anthony works as a bin man, says she regularly reports the issue to the council, but is frustrated with people who continue to do it.

In one instance, a TV and other appliances had been left at the bins, which her husband helped gather together to be collected.
