New plans for pub extension backed by planners

The owners of the King William IV, on Quay Road in Gorleston, have been granted permission by Great Yarmouth Borough Council to make the changes.

This follows the rear extension being approved by planners last year.

The pub has been closed since the beginning of the first lockdown in 2020 and was bought for £325,000 in November 2023.

Now its owners, Levendes Ltd, appear to be making preparations to reopen the premises.
