Great Yarmouth Borough Council wants to redevelop the North Quay area of the town with a mixed-use development consisting of an outlet shopping centre, entertainment quarter, hotel and new homes on the 10-acre riverside site.

An initial two-day public consultation was held earlier this year at the Town Hall and the Place with more than 120 people attending the events.

More than 80pc of people said they thought the redevelopment would improve the appearance of the area, and more than 70pc of those who commented said they thought the development would benefit........
