Villagers battle to save ancient fish pond first stocked by medieval monks
More than 100 carp have perished in Scotsman's Pit at Great Massingham, near King's Lynn, during this summer's heatwaves.
Water temperatures have soared above 25C in recent weeks, while levels have plummeted, causing toxic silt to sap oxygen from the shallow lake.
