Tamar Nurseries has applied for planning permission for a 70m by 48m greenhouse and 120m by 40m reservoir on its site at Walpole Highway, between King's Lynn and Wisbech.

But more than 22 objections have been received by West Norfolk Council.

Opponents include countryside charity the Campaign for the Preservation of Rural England.

It fears the proposals will "negatively impact" the surrounding landscape.

"Over the past years Tamar Nurseries has undergone significant development," it adds.
