Hitman who killed Norfolk publican's wife for £4,000 has been freed
Richard Bates was paid £4,000 to kill Marilyn Garside in October 2001 on the orders of her husband James.
He wanted her dead to inherit £250,000 from the sale of the Cross Keys pub in Redgrave, near Diss, which the couple owned.
Garside, then of Castle Acre Road, King's Lynn, planned to use the money to live in luxury with his mistress.
Bates fatally stabbed Mrs Garside on the doorstep of her elderly mother's home in Romford, Essex.

They were convicted of murder in 2003 but a retrial was ordered for legal reasons.
The duo were both ordered to serve a minimum of 20 years.
