Bob and Jane Farebrother want to develop a plot of land in Hockwold cum Wilton, near Thetford to create their "forever home".

They have put in proposals for the four-bedroom barn-style property on Nursery Lane, which have solar panels on its roof and a ground source heat pump.

Drawings show a basement below the two-storey house will be fitted out with a gym and home cinema.
