1. Former bank to become flats

A former Santander branch in North Walsham could be converted into three flats under new plans submitted by Bourn Homes.

The proposal would see the upper floors and rear of the ground floor of the Market Place building transformed into residential units.

The front of the ground floor would remain as commercial retail space.

The three-storey building, located near the Black Swan Pub and Theatre, is currently vacant.

A noise assessment submitted with the application recommends increased glazing to address road traffic and pub noise.
