After FA Cup highs Exeter City were back to earth with a bump

After the highs of the Forest FA Cup game and the win against Cambridge United – we are back to earth with a bump this week.

The Charlton game at Valley Park was always going to be a challenge, so we’ll chalk that one down as a game to forget…

Our league position wasn’t helped by the results of the teams around us, but we have a couple of games in hand and still 15 to go this season, so there are plenty of points to play for.

The Forest game was fantastic for the club, not just in terms of revenue, but also the opportunity to show off our ownership model.

It felt like the eyes of the country were on us, and judging by the media interest, they were.

Watching it back the next day, it was great to see the positivity from the pundits, with the likes of Ally McCoist, Ian Wright and Roy Keane, praising the club.
