Quarterback Rankings: Who's on the rise heading into The Final Stretch?
Before we get to my bi-weekly Quarterback Rankings, I have a quick public service announcement for those who have a hard time staying up after 10:30pm ET.
Please go back and watch the final moments of the first quarter between the Montreal Alouettes and the BC Lions and the entire second quarter. That was the wildest stretch of football I have seen all year.
Seven possessions saw seven touchdowns being scored in four different ways. You had passing majors, rushing scores and as a bonus two, that’s right, two, defensive linemen return touchdowns.

1. (1) DAVIS ALEXANDER | MONTREAL ALOUETTES
This is the closest I have come to knocking Davis Alexander off the top of the list, but even in defeat, Alexander had plenty of impressive moments. His second quarter interception to defensive tackle Casey Sayles was a big mistake as he released the ball right as he was being tackled. Credit to Davis though for bouncing back with a 26-yard touchdown strike to Tyson Philpot that was so precise not even the best coverage could have stopped it.
Arguably, his smartest play was scrambling as close to the line of scrimmage as possible before finding Tyler Snead open in the back of the end zone for a 17-yard score that cut the Lions' lead to 24-20........
