Gutless King Charles Cancels Girl’s Boxing Clinic Rather Than Excluding Transgenders

The King's Trust has decided to discontinue a boxing and fitness program for disadvantaged young women instead of limiting participation to biological females.

The program was designed for young women aged 16 to 25 who are neither working nor attending school. However, it was shut down after a parent expressed concerns about including "female identifying/presenting" individuals in the program. It was originally scheduled for late February but was quietly withdrawn before it could take place.

This is not what true leadership looks like. In fact, this is the exact opposite of leadership; this is outright cowardice. Believe it or not, Charles’ official title is: His Majesty Charles the Third, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of His other Realms and Territories King, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith.

That’s quite a title for someone so gutless that he would rather scrap an entire women’s program before simply telling men pretending to be women to take a hike. It’s ironic that those he refused to ban have more balls than he does.

Parents were justifiably concerned that in a sport based not only on skill but also on brute strength, when delivering a blow to an opponent, women could be seriously injured.

GB News reported that an outraged parent stated:

Angry Women's rights organizations demanded that the charity reverse its decision and reinstate the program.

Su Wong from SEEN in Sport, a campaign group advocating for single-sex women's sports, accused the charity of preferring to “deny young women the opportunity to participate than to risk offending someone.”

Helen Joyce, director of advocacy at Sex Matters, called the situation "outrageous," stating it "should not have required a Supreme Court judgment" to prevent biological males from being allowed "to punch women for sport."

She went on to correctly state that the charity "would rather remove opportunities for young women to keep fit than tell men who identify as women that their identity doesn't give them the right to punch women."

Joyce was referring to the Supreme Court's ruling nearly a year ago, in April 2025, that the Equality Act's definition of sex refers to biological males and females rather than to self-identification or possession of a gender recognition certificate.

In response to parental complaints, a King's Trust employee stated in an email:

The five-day course titled “Getting Started with Boxing and Fitness for Women” had been scheduled to run from February 23 to 27 in Bristol and would have provided training and a qualification. It was endorsed by Olympic gold medalist Nicola Adams.

They say hindsight is 20/20, and I hope we can soon look back on this madness as a temporary societal insanity. Woke politicians and officials cannot continue to allow this bigotry against women to take place.
