A new criminal complaint has been filed against Argentina’s Chief of Staff, Manuel Adorni, alleging illicit enrichment in connection with a private flight he took with his family to Punta del Este during the recent Carnival holiday.

The complaint was submitted by Deputy Marcela Pagano after reports revealed details of the trip to Uruguay. The issue surfaced amid ongoing controversy over an invitation extended to Adorni’s wife to travel aboard the presidential plane that carried the Argentine delegation to New York.
