We know and love High Wycombe for its historic market town character and its great transport links to and from London, writes Steven Broadbent leader of Buckinghamshire Council.

I want to let Bucks Free Press readers know more about how the council is driving forward transformation in the town and I’m thrilled with the pace of change we have initiated. This can be seen in the newly completed White Hart Street improvement scheme; with new paving, new seating, new planters and more space, I hope residents, local businesses, shoppers and everyone who visits this area enjoys the attractive and welcoming environment.
