Sitting in the sweltering heat June has brought us, I am reflecting on the enormous community spirit shown across so many villages and communities in Mid Buckinghamshire as fetes and summer events are put on, writes the Conservative MP for Mid Buckinghamshire Greg Smith.

It has been an enormous pleasure to attend so many so far, from St Leonard’s Fete to Classics on the Crick in Naphill, Bradenham Fete, Haddenham Fete, Longwick Fete, Nether Winchendon Fete to Boarstall Fete, all with their own traditions, charm, and most of all fun.
