The Premier League say Sunderland full-back Reinildo was shown a straight red card for violent conduct in Aston Villa's match at the Stadium of Light on Sunday afternoon.

Neither side had managed to make a breakthrough before the key flashpoint of the first half arrived. It was in the 33rd minute, and saw Matty Cash clash with Reinildo on the byline directly in front of Unai Emery's technical area.
