Following a visit to Saudi Arabia by Prime Minister Mark Carney earlier this month, the federal government announced several measures to strengthen economic ties between the two countries, including a delegation of Canada’s pension funds that will explore long-term investment opportunities and strengthen partnerships in sectors such as energy and artificial intelligence.
