The purpose of going to church is to be spiritually fed. There are many kinds of churches. Going to church won't save you. What would save you is having Jesus Christ in your life. Walking with him daily, reading Bible scriptures, and praying to him. Good works or even baptism won't save you.

Many churches are decorated with stained-glass windows, steeples, crosses and having pictures of Jesus hanging on the walls inside. It's the people who make the church, not the building. Your church facility is the meeting place. Your facility could be solid walls all around with no windows, and chairs for everyone to sit down.

There was a family gospel singing group called The Hinsons. One of their songs was "Little Storefront Church." Grandpa built the benches; the pulpit didn't look like much. Grandma led the singing and the kids made up the choir, and Grandpa did the preaching in that little congregation. Many souls were being saved.

All the church needs is the Holy Spirit. God himself is saving people. Today there are people who still reject the Lord. When I was on Facebook, there were many entries where they would say hell is not for those Jesus rejected, but for those who rejected Jesus. In hell there is no parole, no escape, everlasting punishment, totally separated from God, weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. After all that, the lake of fire, where Satan and the demons, Antichrist, beast and false prophet are cast forever and ever. So please come to Jesus now.
