I've traveled in 50 countries around the world, the majority on a bicycle in large parts. The only place I've seen a worse roadside trash problem than in Arkansas is probably India, though places like Kanis Hill in Little Rock rival at times.

In letters to the editor, comments from out-of-state visitors, and pretty much any drive down the road, it's clear Arkansas has a terrible roadside trash problem.

I've given some thought to a campaign to address the issue that likely can only be done with the "bully pulpit" of the governor's office and its unique ability to pull people together to solve problems.
