The Trump Administration needs a crispy cold shower of sanity to get them off the “We need Greenland whatever it takes” kick. Its like a towering school yard bully over a weak nerd telling him to give up his lunch money, or else. It looks bad for the United States, and it is bad. Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said that “it’s clear that the president has this wish of conquering over Greenland.”

Denmark is a faithful NATO ally. The United States is free to do whatever it needs, under Denmark’s ownership. But no. We have to own it. The president says we have to take it or Russia or China will. Really?
