‘Superbad’ Had an Artist Create Nearly 1,000 Penis Drawings for One Joke
David Goldberg studied museums and medical references before creating hundreds of drawings for the movie’s infamous montage.

“When I was a little kid, I kinda had this problem,” Seth (Jonah Hill) starts to tell his friend, Evan (Michael Cera), in a scene from 2007’s Superbad. “For some reason, I don’t know why, I’d just kinda sit around all day and draw pictures of d—ks,” he reveals. “D—ks? Like a man di—k?” Evan asks in response. “Yeah, like a man d—k,” Seth clarifies.
From there, viewers are treated to a montage of Seth’s illustrations as he continues to break down his childhood fascination with penises.
