A Widow Inspires the World

September 10, 2025, is a day that will live in infamy. On that day, 31-year-old Charlie Kirk, the nation’s most impressive, courageous, and successful young conservative, was assassinated on the campus of Utah Valley University.

For years, Kirk engaged young students on college campuses in debate and discussion on critical issues. His demeanor was always pleasant, for he respected those individuals with conflicting opinions.

Kirk believed in healthy debate and providing students with a different point of view from what they experienced from their leftist college professors and administrators. Sadly, today, colleges have become indoctrination camps for progressive ideology. Gone are the days when all political viewpoints were respected and allowed on campuses.

Kirk served as a one-man counterbalance to this dangerous groupthink and became incredibly popular and influential. His Turning Point USA chapters expanded in high schools and colleges across the country.

Young people flocked to hear Kirk because of his vast knowledge of an array of topics and his eagerness to civilly engage any individuals with different viewpoints.  

Tragically, last Wednesday, a deranged murderer decided to respond to Kirk’s political outreach by assassinating him. The killer was motivated by “leftist” ideology and was involved in a transgender relationship.

Instead of showing courage and debating Kirk at Utah Valley University, the murderer exposed his cowardice and assassinated him. He robbed the country and the world of the brightest political star of his generation.

Charlie Kirk was destined for political office, possibly the presidency. Of all the advocates for the Make America Great Again (MAGA) agenda and the policies of President Donald Trump, Charlie Kirk was the most effective.

He is irreplaceable, for his combination of intelligence, business acumen, and devout Christian faith is incredibly rare. Fortunately, he married........
