Democratic Custodial Services – PODSAVE AMERICA
Maybe, Jon, you should have had him go over the script.
It seems clear now that one of the primary purposes of the podcast by Democrat operatives, Pod Save America, is for image cleanup. Recall that months ago they brought on Graham Platner to do his best to repair all of the damage from his Nazi tattoo. And his controversial social media. AND his appearance on a white supremacist podcast.
Well, Jon Favreau and his boys are at it again, this time attempting to recast the controversial figure Hasan Piker. For reasons that defy common sense, the avowed communist has become endeared by many Democrats, and only recently have a few in the party realized that his positions on things like terrorism (he’s “pro,” for the record) and saying the U.S. deserved the 9/11 attacks can be problematic for the party.
So, Favreau brought on the man, and in an effort to scrub away the controversies, he set the issues on a placekicker’s tee so Piker could blast them out of the stadium and be done with the problems. Instead, Piker basically autographed the ball, took a selfie with it, and then spiked it in celebratory fashion.
FAVREAU: "When you say Hamas is a thousand times better, do you actually mean that? Or is it that a rhetorical move? Or a solidarity signal…?"Piker: “It’s all of the above. I DO mean it.”
