This might be news to Beroro Efekoro, but even though he’s an Albany County legislator, he’s still just a regular guy.

Called for jury duty recently, Mr. Efekoro thought he’d park in a downtown Albany lot used by judges and sheriff’s office staff. As the Times Union’s Steve Hughes reported, the county lawmaker got into it with a sheriff’s deputy over his use of the parking lot, pushing back when told he had parked in a judge’s space and asserting that he has always been allowed to park there for Albany County Legislature meetings.
