Thomas Tyrrell, Marcia J. White and Andrew Berglund have at least two things in common: They all have a deep commitment to serving others, and they are all recipients of this year's Citizen Laureate Awards.

The University at Albany Foundation recognized their contributions Thursday evening at a dinner held at the university’s Broadview Center. This is the foundation’s 44th year to bestow the award, which honors those who have helped uplift the Capital Region with their leadership in the realms of business, government and academia. The recognition reflects the community's deep appreciation for their service.
