It is a tremendous honour to step into the role of CEO at the Victoria Foundation. I’m grateful for the positive reception I’ve had during these first weeks in my new role and humbled to follow in the footsteps of the highly respected Sandra Richardson.

There’s been a magic to Sandy’s leadership over the past 25 years, thanks to her strong belief in community and in the power of bringing people together around a shared purpose. Sandy has helped build a durable, trusted, and deeply embedded piece of civic infrastructure that this region relies on every day. I look forward to continuing Sandy’s work in ways that honour her legacy.

For me, moving back to Vancouver Island means coming home.
