New Delhi: The Modi government’s latest choice for Riyadh ends one convention – the posting of a senior Muslim diplomat to Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry of External Affairs announced on Tuesday (June 2) that Vipul, a 1998 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer, has been appointed as the next Indian ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
