CJI Claims He Didn't Refuse to List Petition on Police Brutality, Calls Media Reports 'Reckless'
New Delhi: Two days after Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant said that he did not have the time to watch videos of police brutality of protesters, he has said that reports saying that he refused to list a petition challenging the police action against student protesters were “completely false.”
The CJI, according to reports including on LiveLaw, claimed that no writ petition on the issue had been filed before the Supreme Court.
